She has experience in television, radio, print, and online. She works with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation on local and national programs. Her writing has been featured in Halifax Magazine, Atlantic Business Magazine, the Halifax Chronicle-Herald, The Globe and Mail, Rogers Media trade magazines, the business website allnovascotia.com, and numerous other publications.

She also has experience with public relations and advertising writing, including work with clients such as the United Way of Halifax, Saint Mary’s University, Grand and Toy, and the Nova Scotia provincial government.

She has a particular interest in local news and social media, and has instructed at the University of King’s College journalism school.
